Pros
Decent training with a multinational work environment. Flexible hours and good vacation time (if your numbers are on track).
Cons
1. So many growing pains - This company has been growing, but has in no way found any sort of direction or identity. All of the internal processes are pointless, time consuming, and meant to constantly monitor your every move.
2. Terrible senior management - head of the company is pompous, abrasive, and flat out rude, yet somehow thinks this is the best way to treat clients, suppliers, and employees. Working here you will never feel as if the company actually cares about you.
3. No company culture - enjoy working on your own, as there is no office camaraderie to speak of. The company barely invests in making this an enjoyable place to work, and does not celebrate employee achievements. You are basically an individual consultant with no support.
4. Contract protects the company - read the contract carefully. It basically says you are an individual freelance consultant who is legally responsible and liable for any misinformation or misrepresentation of insurance contracts.
5. No upward mobility at all - enjoy being in the same position for at least 10 years. Employees are disposable at this company.
6. Constantly on call - you are expected to be available all times of day including weekends.
7. Threat of termination - if you don't meet expected sales numbers, this is what you hear: "At the next yearly contract, the conversation could be tough".
