Pros
I work on the corporate IT side. Deal with executive leadership somewhat regularly. I’ve seen how the company has managed being spun off, and now being bought out. Overall I would say there is no reason to avoid. The IT organization is run very well. The CTO is very knowledgeable about what’s happening, but gives his leadership team space to manage their verticals. And that sets the tone all the way down. I’ve enjoyed seeing how this company manages change, supports their people resources through challenges, and respects the need for work life balance.
Cons
I honestly cannot think of much. People will always complain about pay, but that’s on you when you negotiate and accept your role. There is change happening in the industry, but AmSurg is well positioned to ride that wave and be a source of growth and positioned well for changes occurring in the healthcare industry.
