The business and market is growing very fast, and Appcues is defining best practices and educating the market on product strategies. If you're interested in software, Appcues works with great software companies. The knowledge you'll accumulate about SaaS and key SaaS KPIs, such as activation, retention, and customer growth will help you further grow your career in software. Regardless of the outcome of Appcues as a business (which I think highly of) this an opportunity to accelerate your learning and set yourself up for an accelerated career trajectory.

This, combined with the natural riskiness of an early stage startup makes Appcues a high risk (high reward) opportunity. High autonomy makes Appcues not a great fit for people who need heavier management to be their best. The whole team, including those involved in management continue to be individual contributors.
