Pros

Aptive is the best place to work because of many reasons, I will list the things that keep me here as well as keeps me excited to be here. 1. Really kind people who go out of their way to help each other. Even if it's just a smile and hey, how are you? I feel that at Aptive we care about each other. 2. Lots to accomplish and learn. If you're unsure what to do, ask another department or different section of your department how they are doing they are open to suggestions and help. 3. Snacks and water in the breakroom. Enough said! 4. Upper management is great, the company culture starts with them. 5. Rapidly growing, I think that in just 10 months that I've been here every single department has had lots of new employees. Even during COVID, which is impressive. 6. Before COVID they brought food trucks every month, every employee was able to have a free lunch with a fun competition afterwards. 7. If you need to go on a walk, you can go behind the building and there is a great view. It's really calming especially during a stressful day. I could go on and on about Aptive, I feel that I've become a better all round person since being here. My confidence has grown so much since being here, both as an Accountant and as a person. I also have increased my capacity to work and my knowledge has grown so much.

Cons

I will make you aware that if you don't have a desire to be in a company that is constantly growing and changing Aptive isn't for you.

We learn new technology one step at a time, and we have weekly team classes to make sure everyone has the information "down pat" before moving on. ​Veteran Mentorship: This company truly values experience. They lean on veteran technicians to walk new employees through every step of the process so they aren't left alone on a route until they are 100% comfortable. ​Customer Loyalty: Our "Reduced Risk" approach (using botanical-based pyrethrins and EPA-approved treatments) is high-quality. I’ve seen that even when customers leave for other options, they almost always come running back once they realize the value of our service. ​Collaborative Bonus Culture: We have monthly bonuses, and we actually help each other hit them. In our meetings, if one tech finds a better way to hit a goal, they share it so the whole "family" can maximize their earnings. ​Strong Communication: You are never on an island. There is constant contact and support between co-workers, supervisors, and manageme
