Glory Days are over :\

Some of the best peers you'll have at work. Everyone below a Senior Director level is A+ Art x Technology is cool
Cons
Company fell off a cliff after years of turmoil and leadership change. No cross-team alignment even within the same department Bureaucracy is rampant No new innovation happening Culture is dead Compensation is sketchy at best Went from the amazing goal of revolutionizing/democratizing the art world to basically making a high value Etsy instead

Pros
-good work/life balance -lots of opportunity -fast paced I returned from mat leave not that long ago and have a different perspective on the workplace than I did before. As am ambitious person who doesn't want to have to take a step back, it's been rewarding to continue to advance, feel like I have the same opportunities as my male peers, lots of women leaders, can work from home 3 days / week, and generally feel like there isn't a stigma to being a parent.
Cons
-Artsy does a lot of different things. Sometimes it feels like too much or things can be a distraction -Some teams can be a bit siloed from the rest of the organization (though this has been improving)

Pros
Artsy has gone through a lot of change in the past few years, but with the success of the company at the core of all decisions made. Exec and sr management always try to be as open as possible (and this is much more open than other companies I've been at) and leave the door open for feedback, debate, and discussion. Flexible, supportive, and transparent HR structures allow people to get their work done in a way that suits them best, and company and team goals are out in the open. When you do good work, it's noticed around the company, lauded, and rewarded.
Cons
Wide disconnect in family leave policies btwn team members based in the US and those based in the UK. While this is driven by different national policies, and the US policy is good in comparison to some US companies, the difference is hard felt.
