Review - Apprentice BYBORRE Employee Review

Valuable experience seeing all stages of product creation (design, development, marketing, etc) happening together in one office.

Interns and junior members of the team were mostly treated as free menial labor, not young designers there to learn and contribute. It was a constant struggle to have my manager teach me about the field I was interning in. My days as a BYBORRE intern were filled with tasks like cleaning, moving boxes, and printing labels. I was actively discouraged from contributing ideas to client projects and from pursuing an internship project.

Lovely team with many ambitious people, working towards a better fashion industry. The vision is awesome.

Internships are not paid, they promise opportunitues to continue as a full employee, but have way too many interns for that to actually work. It's kind of ironic to have worked on looking into social sustainablity and treatment in fashion, but not get paid for those efforts.
