- office in shoreditch - nice co-workers

- unfair lead distribution ( a hand full of long term employees get the paid inbound Leads that are happy to speak you, while new employees get the leads that we call every other week. This leads to unfair commission rewards. - no work from home until you hit unrealistic targets ( only the ones that get the paid inbound leads hit those targets) - a lot of micro management - 2 of my colleagues were fired for no reason ( I believe they do not want BDMs to stay with the company for too long to the point where they request a pay raise) - They pretend to be nice and caring but they do not care about you at all. E.g. I had one very motivated co-worker who really wanted to meet our CEO who came into the London office from Denmark. She does not live in London, so she asked if she could expense her travel costs as well as 1 night stay at a hotel. This request was declined. She had to pay for her travel and one of my coworkers was nice enough to let her sleep on her couch. - in general this was the worse company I ever worked for. I did not feel valued at all. I was promised a pay raise after 6 months ( the starting salary was very low) in my interview and when the time came up they raised my pay not even by half the amount they mentioned in the interview. They told me that this was how it was done at bookboon. If they told me this in the initial Interview I would not have taken the role.
