Unorganized. I went through interviews for 2 months and they finally told me I was hired on Friday evening, shipped my equipment overnight, and expected me to start on Monday. I was out of town for the holiday weekend and asked HR if I needed to change my flight to be home by Monday morning. She told me no, it's fine if you miss a few hours on the first day. Day 3- Terminated due to missing part of training on Day 1,
When I explained this to my manager, he said "it's coming from HR and is not my decision". He said he would "run it back up the pole to find out if it will still be a termination" 5 minutes later he called back and terminated me. The HR person said she never authorized the missed training.
Also, software systems are extremely outdated. No hour lunch breaks, 1 thirty and 2 fifteens at THEIR convenience. The training is thrown together, no presentation to follow along and learn from. Too many different systems that do not correlate due to the many smaller companies they have acquired. No real discounts unless you live in a service area, if so then free internet and "cable" which is really just an app.
