Pros
Because they are very flexible with your schedule, if you need time off ((in our department, because this is very dependent on who your manager is), I have never seen it not granted.
Cons
Its...."who you know"....when it comes to promotions, senior management does not really qualify in our department to be "Senior Management". Persons are always on the defensive because upper management does not communicate with the employees and everyone is afraid that their job is going to be outsourced...there have been a few titles already outsourced, but management waits until the last minute to tell the employees that it will affect, and will not tell the truth to the other departments.
