Pros
Fantastic learning. The kind of exposure available here is hard to find. Pretty damn high transparency and access to information, so you get to learn about all aspects of the company. There is also lots of opportunity to make an impact in the team, being an anonymous cog is discouraged.
- Really smart people. There is no problem that they can not solve, and are always willing and wanting to share knowledge, expertise, advice etc. One of the best teams in the world.
- Really nice people with great relationships. They have your back at work (and even outside work). They participate in your success and jump in to help when there is a problem. People are kind, patient, helpful, and care about each other.
- It’s obviously nice to work on something that is trying to make an impact, is used by some very cool customers and has great press around it. Want to work on getting more of that.
Cons
I have worked at several orgs before and every organization has some things that could be better. The culture here is to solve problems ourselves instead of just complaining about it. When you ask for an improvement, the team is always willing to get on board.
