Pros
-Flexibility (work from home days, unlimited sick days, 16 vacation days your first year, then two more added for each year of employment, relaxed work environment)
-Benefits (health, vision, dental, 401k)
-Fun days (beer and pizza Friday, holiday parties, happy hours)
-Casual dress code
-Everyone is generally nice and helpful (employees and clients)
Cons
-Disorganization out the wazoo. Seriously, things would change once a week.
-CLIQUES. I kept thinking I was in high school instead of a content marketing agency. Everyone is young (22-32), which is fine, but there are some immature folks in the mix who are only there to socialize.
-Basically an entry level job factory. They hire you, pay you nothing, make you do more than 40 hours worth of week, then you move on somewhere else with better pay and less work and realize what you've been missing.
-Constant concern for your job security because of the budgetary issues and client turnover. Many were let go for a variety of reasons during my time there.
-Clients leave left and right. Not sure if it's because the people hired don't receive proper training and don't know what they're doing and clients get annoyed or if the agency charges too much for some of the crap they churn out.
