Pros

You get Discount on phone contracts and on items in store , the Staff you work with are a good bunch

Cons

Careplan, cloud storage, set up and showhow, anti virus, Microsoft office, knowhow amount, carphone warehouse referral, mobile broadband, home broadband, overall amount you've taken. So yeah 10 KPI's with computer sales. But the work motto is 'cash is king', so I could take a million pound but somehow I'd still lose my job because I didn't get enough home broadbands, Scaring customers into thinking they need the 'add-ons' so you can hit numbers, Managers do not listen and do not care, it's not about customer service it's about numbers. If you don't know about free office/anti virus when you go to university we'll love you because you'll pay us for it. Preset up laptops, pretty much pointless, the trouble it causes the staff when customers only want a machine and nothing else but preset up's we try and make you pay more for when it's our fault, but if you complain we do it for the original price. You can receive multiple thank you's from customers who write/call head office but that doesn't matter to management (you'd probably wait weeks to even find out as it's down to the management to actually tell you), no home broadband's and you're dead to them. Lying to customers that we don't have stock but guess what, we do. Setting up business accounts for people who don't have a business but when it's over £1000 to make us look good. But you do get perks of well ermmmm nothing really. Customers come in and most don't know anything, so from there you have the power to sell them absolutely anything if you want, or you could be honest and sell them what they actually need. There are few staff that sell honestly, other staff are scared of losing their jobs if they don't hit numbers, few don't care about customers. Nobody management wise knows what is going on. You're pretty much left to fend for yourself sometimes. Giving customers discount is unfair, if you have a customer willing to take everything you won't get no discount to give them but if you have a customer that doesn't want one of KPI's the managers will throw money at them pretty much.
