Pros

there was a passion among employees about the PC gaming industry. People definitely could sit for hours and days talking about their favorite games, characters, etc. The atmosphere definitely promoted gaming with lunch time matches and travels to tournaments. Definitely a gamer's heaven

Cons

Mgmt is terrible. They are all very young and inexperienced. They seemed to be more concerned with promoting parties and events than establishing overall business strategies. CEO is a nice guy who is being taken advantage of by some inexperienced Vice presidents who spend exorbitant amounts on travel and expenses while causing their subordinates to quit right and left. Also, let's just say I wouldn't want to be female working at this company. No female execs and definitely a lot of "Bro talk" towards women.

Pros

I've really enjoyed my experience working for Curse. Many of Curse's employees relocate from across the country to come be a part of this team (including myself), and since day one everyone has done a great job making sure I feel welcome and included. It is inspiring to come to work every day with such passionate people- everyone here believes that Curse's web properties and products truly help gamers better enjoy their gaming experience, and that belief is what motivates everyone to work hard and contribute to the community they love on a daily basis. Curse values its employees and offers an excellent benefit package (way better than my last employer)- to start, I pay nothing out of pocket for my medical, dental, and vision insurance. Curse also contributes up to 5% to your 401K, which can add up fast. The catered lunches, stocked kitchen, monthly gym reimbursement, and annual gaming expense reimbursement aren't bad either. I also get to take more PTO here than I ever have before- Curse gives you 20 PTO days in your first year. All of this really makes me feel very well taken care of by Curse. Last, the company is growing like crazy right now. Since Curse prefers to promote from within rather than hire management into the company, it's definitely an awesome time to join the team (more leadership/management/senior level roles should open up to keep up with the growth).

Cons

It's hard for me to come up with any cons to working for Curse. The only thing I can say is the org. structure is pretty flat right now, but I assume that's going to change soon with all of the growth this year and next.
