Pros

The organisation on the whole is a great place to start off a career in journalism. People are encouraged to think things through and communicate with each other to learn as much as possible about the profession. There's also good camaraderie between people and everyone is willing to help out if required.

Cons

The management is too set in its ways and refuses to listen to any ideas that may result in the slightest improvement. After a little while, you can also reach the point where you have learnt all that you can and for anyone looking to have a vital career, this place can only be treated as a stepping stone. People are also very confused about what exactly they want from the newspaper, which kind of defeats the purpose of having it.
