Good pay and pretty easy job

Long hours both will be good too

Del Papa is a growing beer distribution company along the Texas coast. The president is very forward looking and had invested a lot of interest into the craft movement. Insurance & other benefits are top flight. You can also attend almost any event the company sponsors for free and typically have a couple beers thrown in as well. Sales positions are the best entry level spots with lots of incentives and perquisites for the aggressive. If you become one of the chosen few, you'll rise rapidly through the ranks.

Morale is low company wide. Although management would like the staff to be happy, they seem unable to accomplish it. Management continues to ask salaried employees to work in excess of 45 hours a week, and you can often go more than 3 weeks without a day off. Since it's a service industry, holidays off are quite difficult to get off. During the period I worked there I felt lucky to take 10 days off one year. Hard workers are often overlooked in lieu of people the management preferred. Upper management completely disassembles and rebuilds the company structure on a semi-annual basis will little regard for the employees under the misunderstanding that it helps the company.
