You get most of the same perks as the teachers, everyone is kind and laid back, the leads and supervisors are very understanding of life situations that arise. Everyone is very accommodating.

Gossip among custodial staff and some acting as if they're more valuable than everyone else. Moving furniture all summer is definitely a negative, especially in the heat.

-Signing/retention bonuses the last few years. -Generally supportive administration. -Class sizes usually kept below 25 students.

-All of the things that come with teaching: long hours, students who lack motivation, parents who are uninvolved or overinvolved.
