Pros

Great coworkers, nice place but...

Cons

The compensation is poor, management is unsatisfactory, and as a family-owned business, bonuses and rewards are reserved for family members. This results in high turnover, as employees are often mistreated.

Pros

- Very easy work compared to UPS and Fedex. (yes; I have worked for all three as Direct Hit Logistics is a DHL contractor) - Once you leave the dock/warehouse you have all the time to yourself as long as you make your deliveries and pickups on time - Weekly pay (NOT DIRECT DEPOSITED) - You can basically work as many hours as you like (I was part time but would routinely work 35+ and 40+ hours)

Cons

- Weekly pay WAS NOT DIRECT DEPOSITED - Limited advancement opportunities to upper level management as company is owned/operated by a family (this is NOT DHL CORPORATE; DHL offers contracts to their hubs/stations and Direct Hit Logistics owns pretty much every contract from Miami to Richmond)

Thank you for your input. In the world of asset based logistics that we live in, there is nothing that is "immensely profitable." Unfortunately, this is a penny business. In the past, we did have GPS systems in our vehicles. Unfortunately, the GPS' were abused, lost and damaged. We strive every day to become better as a company.
