Depending on your project or squad you get to work with some kind and intelligent people and it’s rewarding to be a part of that.
Cons
There is no company strategy on how to get out of the grave they dug. The churn they’re facing is putting the company further and further in the red as evident with multiple rounds of layoffs and poor management decisions. To any prospective candidate that got an offer, congrats but be wary that this is a sinking ship and as such people are only looking out for themselves. Multiple C level executives have left and the organization has restructured multiple times to try and consolidate more engineers to do more work with little room for advancement or compensation. They will claim it’s the market but at the core of its poor management decisions and having Vista (the PE firm that acquired it) calling the shots.
