Pros

The company is very flexible with your schedule, has great time off policies, incredibly smart coworkers and we're working towards something that is really going to make an impact in the auto industry. The company itself is new but is a spin off of another company so while we've been in business for just a year, much of the team has been building this for a few years. Due to how new the company is, there is a lot of say in our policies, procedures and how we scale for the future.

Cons

It's cliche but there really are not any. We're very new as a stand alone company so there is a lot we need to establish but that in itself is an exciting challenge more than a con.

Pros

- US salaries were higher than regional average. - New facilities.

Cons

- No technical leadership in US office. - Most engineering decisions made in UK parent office. - Company does not plan ahead; leads to costly business trips and rush orders. - Less PTO and holidays than most US automotive companies. - No trust within company; information is withheld on a regular basis, lots of internal secrets unless you are a part of the inner circle. - Advertised as "flexible schedule" but upper management keeps close tabs on everyone coming and going, as well as where they are in the building during the day. - HR Policies were nonexistent. Issues were handled on a case-by-case basis with no consistency. Led to unfair treatment and favoritism. - Company originally promised training but did not provide any after multiple requests. - They rarely fire people for poor job performance. (Could be a pro if you want to slack off) - If you are a "yes-man" with a niche skill, they will work you to the bone. - Upper management does not take kindly to employees respectfully questioning decisions. - Company culture is work comes before life.
