After almost 25 years of govt. service both military and civilian. After 5 months of awards and acolytes, got sick and 2 weeks later my job duties were on a new job announcement and from there after months of breaking pushing until I broke, I am face homelessness. Learned the hard way there is no job security, no humanity, lying about the fallacy that they are all for families while throwing mine to the streets after spending the last of my savings in the move which they do not pay, they reimburse and then look for details like oh you were at the airport at midnight so instead of paying you the highest rate, they say no it started on the day before so we will pay you at a lower rate. You can rent a car to come from the airport and move around but they will not reimburse. If you have pets and have to make arrangements separate they won’t pay for your flights and another great one, they say they pay for pay transport, changes in licenses and all those admin stuff, and the ride to get home, the amount was barely enough to cover the pet transport.
