Pros
1. The company is innovative, an industry leader and growing rapidly 2. They have built a strong culture 3. Everyone that I worked with, with the exception of Joe Held, was great. We all got along well. Joe Held is only there for himself and his interests, don't let his façade fool you.
Cons
One of the core values at Forcura is Transparency. Here's some "Transparency" for you. Joe Held, the CTO, is a walking HR incident waiting to happen. He has created a toxic work environment which is different from the rest of the company. He doesn't care about the employees under him sacrificing their lives 80+ hours a week to meet his outlandish goals, then gets mad that it wasn’t enough even though it’s his own incompetence that gets in the way. He doesn't care about your concerns, he will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you back to work and to keep you from bothering him. If it's not a part of Joe's agenda, it's not a concern. There is no "team", there is only Joe. If you don't "think" like him, "work" like him, or if you have different views than him, then he will run you off. Joe is demeaning and condescending towards his own employees (ESPECIALLY WOMEN) and only cares about initiatives that he drives. Before I left Forcura we had more turnover on the Engineering team than any other team in the company ever. Joe Held has turned Machiavellianism into a core value at Forcura. Maybe he's a great person outside of Forcura, but I wouldn't trust with my career. Other teams at Forcura get treated so much better, like the Customer Service team and the Sales team. The Engineering team is a sweatshop. Joe doesn’t care about you. Joe just wants to use your skills, bleed you dry and then toss you overboard when he's done with you. All while threatening to outsource your job. Oher than Joe, the only other issue is that there is very little room for advancement, unless you are a part of the clique. Good luck my former coworkers! You deserve so much better!
