Pros
Family environment, all of the 'lower-level' employees are very friendly and we all get along. I've made several friends here. Franke does hire good people down here at the bottom. Pay is decent. We've gotten a 2.5% cost of living pay increase each of the 5 years I've been here. Facility is nice, has a decent gym, on-site health care. Decent benefits.
Cons
Basically, you will stay in the position you get hired for. You may move one rung up the ladder, but only if the person at that rung leaves. You do not get pay raises unless your position changes. Training (or lack thereof) is a joke. They fired 16 tenured people at the drop of hat with no notice. Terminated an entire department and put all of that department's responsibilities on other employees, with no additional pay for those employees. The benefits when I started were great, though each year they slowly get worse. Deductibles DOUBLED from 2014, specialist co-pay went from $30 to $50. Pay (for the positions I've been in) are at the LOWEST range as compared to regional average for the same positions.
