Pros
Well, If You Insist... Okay, if I really had to dig deep for a "pro," here it is: You can work from home. So, at least you can silently scream into a pillow in the comfort of your own space. Plus, the starting salary might be 20-30% higher than other places. Consider it hazard pay for your sanity. You'll need it.
Cons
The (Very Long) "Cons" List Now, for the actual story. The "cons" are basically everything else, neatly packed into a chaotic nightmare. 1. Zero Clarity, All Chaos: They love to be "casual and direct," which means you'll get no clear directions or what they expect from you. It's a guessing game, and if you guess wrong, you're out. They do more of the bad stuff and less of the good stuff. Period. 2.No Growth, Just Grudges: Don't expect annual raises, the only way you get a pay raise is through a promotion and forget about fair promotions. People jump from entry-level to manager like magic(bias), while others are left in the dark. Also, the bosses hold grudges against employees. Seriously, try not to upset them. 3. Rules? What Rules?: Company policies are just words on paper. The higher-ups just do whatever they feel like, whenever they feel like it. Compliance is just for show. Any HR feedback you provide will likely turn against you because HR policies only apply to overseas employees, not the "core" higher management. 4. Your Time? Not Yours: Get ready for unpaid overtime, every single day, for at least two hours. Weekends? Yeah, sometimes you'll be "expected" to work those too, still unpaid. Your free time is a joke to them. 5. "Hire to Fire" Culture: They basically hire people just to fire them later. I've seen over 100 people (out of 500+ total employees) fired just because they thought profits might go down in the future due to the expected US recession, not because they were actually losing money for an extended time. It's like a college startup that never grew up, just got better at mass firings. 6. Bias is Real (and Insane):The bias here isn't even for good performers. They're biased towards people who are plainly incompetent, who know absolutely nothing, and they'll take their word over everyone else's. It's truly baffling. 7. Management Mayhem: The management is weak, cluttered, and often has no real experience. They can't even tell you what your job is, but they're still favored. Managers live in constant fear, going from quarter to quarter, wondering what senseless demand will come next. Trust me, if you're overseas, you're not safe from this stress. Even the "lucky" ones know their peace is temporary, lasting only a few months until their replacement is settled in. Nobody is truly safe here. 8. Negative Reputation: Employees, clients, and even their printing partners don't have high regard for Fresh prints. It sounds like the company is starting to fall apart now that it's gone through some recent changes. Seriously, if you care about your peace of mind or having a life outside work, just don't join Freshprints. You're better off working for a company everyone knows is bad and pays less. Trust me, it'll still be better than this place.
