Pros

Nothing that I am aware of. Trust me there is no positive things about this company at this moment for me to share here except there were very few good talented employees worked in this company in the past.

Cons

This company doesn't value employee employer relation and make you work 24 x 7. The management is irresponsible and they don't have any good vision about the future about the company. Due to this reason the company is now running in huge loss and there were already 2 rounds of layoffs and the remaining talented people have already left. The people who sticks there now are those who were either trying new job outside or those who didn't got any job outside yet. They need someone who works even after bussiness hours and the company managers play dirty politics. They will terminate you if any managers have any personal issues with any employees. They don't appreciate nor promote talented people. The employees who are on H1B struggles the most and they are repenting for their decision in joining GI. So my advice is to stay away from this company.

We take a lot of pride in the work that we do at GetInsured and we’re sorry to hear you were so unhappy. We are also proud of our staff, which includes some of Silicon Valley’s top talent. As far as work/life balance, we aim to have a happy, team-oriented work environment and will look into your claim of an overwhelming workload. We do recognize that it can be heavy at times prior to releases, or a new program launch, but we also feel that would be true of many companies. Our HR and executive teams are always working hard not only to find new initiatives that continue to foster work / life balance, but to also better employee engagement and team interaction. I think one of our reviews said it best, “GetInsured is a growing business in a changing market, so there are bound to be some adjustments and course corrections.” This may be misconstrued as a lack of direction, but in reality, it’s a testament to our nimble team that can help our partners, both state and commercial, respond to market needs. We meet as a team each month to review board meeting updates, as well as current projects and company focus. We have a very positive outlook and are certainly not operating at a loss. Just to clarify, the company didn’t have two rounds of layoffs in 2016, though that may have been the impression. There was a down-size that occurred within our sales centers located in Phoenix, AZ and Atlanta, GA and those impacted were mostly contractors. They understood that their employment was not full-time and knew it was temporary to assist consumers during this year’s open enrollment. It is a common practice in the Health Insurance Industry to ramp up during Open Enrollment then to ramp down the work force once busy season ends. We do appreciate your feedback and have shared it with a larger group within the company to continue our practice of open communication.

Pros

I’ve been working here for over 7 months as a remote CSR handling Marketplace insurance support for multiple states, and overall I’ve had a very positive experience with the company. One thing I really appreciate is how understanding and supportive management has been during difficult life situations. I went through a house fire while employed here very early on, and the company worked with me, replaced my equipment quickly, excused my missed time, and helped me get back to work without making me feel disposable. That meant a lot to me personally and professionally. The company also gives employees opportunities to work on different assignments and projects beyond standard inbound calls. I’ve worked outbound campaigns, ticketing assignments, and multiple state queues, which helped me build experience and confidence. Training was thorough, and I feel like the company invests a lot into developing employees. Another major positive is remote work flexibility. As a single mom, being able to work remotely while building stability in my life has been incredibly valuable. The pay increase they recently gave employees was also appreciated and showed they were listening to retention concerns and trying to stay competitive. Like any customer service job, there are stressful moments and busy seasons, and work volume can fluctuate depending on enrollment periods and assignments. But overall, this has been the most stable and supportive work environment I’ve personally had so far. Pros: - Remote work flexibility - Supportive management/team leads - Opportunities to work multiple assignments/projects - Thorough training - Competitive pay for the role - Good experience for people interested in healthcare/insurance careers

Cons

- Stressful work at times -Repetitive sometimes -Difficult customer interactions
