Pros
Insurance, co-workers (non-management), 401k, laid back dress code
Cons
Management, leadership, employee support, employee development (lack of), blame environment, minimal recognition, all talk and no actual change, archaic technologies (way behind current tech in software), same people get promotions, if direct manager is not effective and/or doesn't "choose" you then you will never go anywhere regardless of qualifications, benefits are often not given with empty reasons (tuition reimbursement for example), no loyalty to employees (they will lay you off with 20 years as quick as someone with 6 months - I was not laid off to clarify), TOXIC environment, unless you have a degree from an IVY league school leadership will not believe you can do anything other than lower management, if that.
