Pros
In the right team, the people and opportunities are fantastic. I was able to focus a lot on learning and improving, whilst regularly feeling like I was making valuable contributions. It's great to work on high profile digital services with likeminded, talented people. The work/ life balance is also spot on.
Cons
The annual review process is arduous. The politicised nature of senior roles/ empire building can also sometimes be a struggle - especially when it adversely affects deliveries. It often felt like our voices and issues were not being heard/ appreciated by senior management.
