Pros

You learn a lot about the retail business.

Cons

My store manager assigns you 20 things to accomplish in one shift and expect them done 100% by the time you clock out. However, NEVER took into account the time it takes to tend the customers and if you are a in a supervisory role. You have get called to the registers to approve returns, if no one else is available you have to do customer carry outs, get paid holds. If that's not enough, the other managers ask you to fill in to help out other coordinators get their tasks completed because they cannot complete them without assistance.

Pros

The people and the company respects diversity.

Cons

After working there after a year, the no fault hours doesn't kick in, if your hired date falls after December. Working with lazy employees and bonus are not fairly distributed, depending on which shirt you work on.

Pros

it is a job if you desperately need one

Cons

management does not keep promises (e.g. I was promised $2 higher pay upon accepting the position and later was told it wasn't feasible anymore once starting. I was also promised a specific day off then last minute had it revoked because they decided to make it a mandatory day). management does not listen to or care about its employees, very unprofessional. store managers don't want to do anything to help, they just sit in the office. management let other employees slack off and do nothing and expected others to compensate for their lack of effort general manager was horribly rude and misogynistic. he threw a box at someone while visiting.
