Pros

Honeywell offers solid benefits, good work life balance, and flexible time off with unlimited PTO, which is a great benefit. The company is large and well known, and there are opportunities to work on meaningful projects and support different parts of the business. Many employees are knowledgeable and collaborative, and depending on the team, it can be a good environment to grow and gain experience.

Cons

Employee experience can vary greatly depending on the leadership team you report to. In some areas, leadership style can be very ego driven and overly critical rather than focused on development and support. There were instances of dismissive communication, excessive scrutiny, and constant criticism that was not always constructive. At times the leadership approach felt undermining rather than supportive, which created a stressful and uncomfortable work environment. Team culture and direct manager relationships have a significant impact on the overall experience, and unfortunately not all leaders are strong people managers. Leadership communication style, consistency, and professionalism can make or break the employee experience, and that is an area where improvements are needed.

Pros

Strong customer base, talented employees, and opportunities to grow your career. Honeywell gives you exposure to complex technical challenges across multiple industries while providing the resources and support needed to be successful. Compensation and benefits are competitive, and there is no shortage of opportunities for those willing to take on additional responsibility

Cons

Frequent organizational changes can create additional meetings, reporting requirements, and administrative work. As the company continues to evolve, balancing internal processes with customer-facing priorities can sometimes be challenging. Long travel schedules can also impact work-life balance for field-based employees.
