Pros

- Unlimited PTO - Some remote work flexibility depending on the department you’re in - There are some great people I’ve met along the way - It’s not the worst place to work, you can get by with a mediocre performance and collect a paycheck until you find your next company.

Cons

- In the last 90 days, our Chief Legal Officer, Chief Customer Officer and Chief Technology Officer have quit. In their defense, our board decided to very quickly remove our previous CEO so I’m sure this had an impact on their decisions to leave. The best leaders have gone and while the ideal of the merger was well intended, the execution has been awful. - Our marketing is a disaster, with the rebrand to Khoros we have little name recognition in addition to the fact that our demand generation was already poor. This would be fine if you were a startup, but at a large and tenured company where the board is constantly barking about hitting unrealistic numbers, it’s a recipe for disaster. - You’ll most likely be able to find better pay at another software company. Not to mention the SEVERE pay inequality between men and women, at least in the sales and engineering orgs. - There are only 3 of about 50 AE’s that will actually attain their quota. Selling software in the marketing space where our products are lagging for the enterprise price tag is just not a smart move. - Morale is low, which probably isn’t unexpected after a merger. But the changes that have been made, such as the office move to a location completely inconvenient for 95% of the employee population (but actually 95%... lets see those “employee location heatmaps” again), it’s hard to think you’ll be able to see the light again.

Pros

Flexibile work life and appropriate compenstation for industry standards, but varies manager to manager

Cons

Lots of internal politics, overpriced compared to competitors and misguided management makes everything more difficult than needed. Gatekeeping is rampant
