Terrible pay and structure - Anonymous employee Kibin Employee Review

Hi, Anonymous! There is a lot of truth in your review. We are very nice :-) and our editing test is designed to be difficult. This speaks to the quality of our service and the caliber of our editing team. And I really think these should be viewed as pros rather than cons. Our top priority is ensuring we provide a high quality service, and that starts with having extremely talented editors. But there is one aspect of your review that is not truthful. If you did indeed pass these tests and work for us, something I unfortunately can't verify due to your anonymity, you would know that it is actually impossible to earn just $3 for a 500 word edit. The absolute minimum you would ever earn as a new editor on a 500 word edit is $5.25 -- this is worst case scenario for a brand new editor. That same brand new editor could earn as high as $7.43 for a 500 word edit if the edit was requested by the customer as a 3-hour delivery. One of our more seasoned editors would earn even more. For someone that's been with us awhile and built their editing history on Kibin, they would earn $6.13 on the low end and $8.66 on the high end. We reward editors with revenue share increases the more they edit with us. So while I do appreciate your feedback, I would appreciate it even more if you took care to ensure you were leaving an accurate review of our company, policies, and pay rates.
