Pros

Offered hybrid, but lets face it, that is standard for anywhere

Cons

Lots of reviews here for store staff, but I'll come forward as someone who worked in Head Office and had an awful experience and I didn't speak up about it at the time (I left a while ago but have heard they haven't changed). -they are growing far too quickly and have never considered their staff and their wellbeing at any point -they take take take but never give -justify appallingly low salaries because they are a 'startup' and share option, but working there 2 yrs for them is not enough -favouritism towards some staff members on an absurd scale, continually demoralising for others who had been there much longer and just getting on with it -rare occasion we got a team meal, hosted Xmas lunches on train strike days so half the team were absent -never check in on you, I never had any development meetings -endless broken promises -extremely rude, nasty management, they write disgusting emails and jump to conclusions when they were completely wrong -mismanaged witnh strategy, was constantly jumping from one thing to another -no bonuses, rewards or incentives to do well -heard lots of very unsavoury things being said about others, it was horrible -expenses took ages to be paid -did some additional work and had such a battle to be remurated in some form

Pros

- Great autonomy as Store Manager to shape store operations and team dynamics. - Strong supportive culture from both head office and team members. - Clear opportunities to develop management skills and grow within the brand. - Engaging work environment that keeps every shift interesting and rewarding. - High-quality products and brand reputation make customer interactions positive.

Cons

- Opening shifts are quite long, which can feel challenging if you’re not accustomed to early starts or extended opening hours. - Labour allocation is kept tight, though there’s flexibility to increase staffing levels during peak trading periods. Honestly, there are no major downsides to note just small operational points that are manageable.
