Pros

Friendly employees, CEO is still very present in the day-to-day, emphasis on activities/company culture.

Cons

Extremely unrealistic expectations on their entire creative team because the company prioritizes ad sales over production quality, translating to an unbalanced ratio of "rush" projects to editors/creative producers. Everybody working at Lemonlight is consistently overloaded, resulting in sub par performance. Productions and post-production workflows are very disorganized, and salaried employees are expected to put in much more than 40 hours per week in order to meet deadlines. As an editor, you can expect to spend anywhere from 8-12 hours a week day and 2-6 hours a weekend at a 40-hour-a-week salary. Lastly, as an editor, you are expected to be a one-stop shop for not only editing and sound design, but also color-grading, motion graphics, graphic design, and SFX (such as screen replacement, taking out logos, etc). This might be fine if you have a realistic timeline and bandwidth, but often you will only have 1-2 days notice on a new project while simulateously being expected to complete complicated revisions on 5+ other projects.
