Pros

- Good product idea - CEO is good at making first impressions

Cons

- CEO has little business or design sense yet insists on micromanaging development, including tasks for which he has no expertise in and has hired employees to perform. Gets in arguments which may last days, about technical details which he has no understanding of. - CEO makes major changes at inopportune times, and has minimal flexibility in terms of revising or reconsidering these decisions. - CEO will commonly escalate a disagreement into an increasingly irrational argument. - Features are scrapped or crippled due to CEO getting frustrated with development process - Weighing of pros and cons of a decision, or presenting difficult information in a positive and well-packaged manner are interpreted by CEO as a ploy to undermine him - Features are cancelled, changed, or shelved in order to "punish" employees - CEO seems to feel the need to actively create a "tough startup" environment, rather than allowing it to naturally arise through quick pace of development and employee passion for a would-be exciting product. - CEO does not seem to think that admiration and loyalty need to be earned from employees, and attempts to use this perceived relationship to "mentor" employees. CEO frequently uses this approach to explain why an employee is in disagreement with him. - CEO regularly states that he is very friendly and approachable, yet addresses serious employee concerns with platitudes about toughing it up and about what a great place to work Neumitra is. - CEO has a consistent lack of diligence and integrity surrounding financial matters. I could not in good conscience advise for anybody to work at or invest in this company.

Thanks for the feedback, always good to hear if difficult to read and understand the motivations. We're grateful for your contributions and I'm thankful now we have the resources to hire really experienced and professional teammates and build based on active collaboration from diverse viewpoints. I also don't have to try to wear so many hats as necessary when we were much smaller and more resource limited. My best wishes for your next professional steps. -Rob

Pros

While going through changes, this team is truly extraordinary challenging the status quo and find way to innovate in a space they are clearly a leader in.

Cons

As with any startup, Neumitra struggles under limited resources. Here the right team with one wrong player would be deadly, a lesson they've clearly learned.

Pros

Extremely passionate CEO, team meetings every morning before tarting to work, very flexible hours, great location in Boston right in front of the Boston Public Library.

Cons

Deadlines not clearly established, but that's how startups work sometimes.

Thank you for your kind words. In our early days when the biggest tech companies were not yet in our space, it was difficult to have strict deadlines. Neumitra was stuck as an R&D shop. We're grateful now to have a clear product opportunity and excited for you to tell us what you think! - Rob
