Pros

My personal experience at Noteworth has been great so far. One of the biggest benefits of working at a start up is you get a lot more visibility than you would at a corporate company. Things can be fast paced and sometimes, you'll be expected to work on things that don't exactly fall under your job title - aka you'll wear several hats. This can be a pro or con depending on what you're looking for. But it's a great way to learn new skills. My boss is transparent, easy to communicate with, and gives great feedback that I can use to do better. The people I work with are extremely smart and genuinely care about doing a good job. Lastly, I have ownership of the work I do, meaning I get to have influence in the overall scheme of things. This doesn't often happen at bigger companies. With any rapidly growing start up, there will be growing pains. Despite those growing pains, everyone is doing their best to communicate and work together to push past it. It's a great time to be at the company; I'm excited to see where Noteworth will go from here.

Cons

The one thing I wish was better is the company culture. Being fully remote, you don't get the same personal touch as if you were in an office environment. And that's to be expected. Right now, there are weekly virtual happy hours on Friday, but I hope there's a push to do more in the near future.
