Pros

great benefits, travel opportunities, great offices, and getting to be involved with work that genuinely improves human rights globally. Essentially has a similar work culture to that of charity but the financial resources of a medium-to-large-sized bank Whilst I did hear some horror stories from others my personal experience with my manager and colleagues was very positive. Very supportive environment.

Cons

Like any organization that is filled with human rights activists, I think a few staff members were unable to turn off the "fight the man" part of their brain. This is great for tackling injustice, corrupt governments, and institutions around the world but became a bit silly with some internal matters, especially when the organization was proposing/making changes in good faith that would result in a net benefit to staff. With that being said senior management has made an absolute mess of the restructure and is an occasion where harsh criticism if valid
