Pros

The culture is what makes PVI stand out from its peers. It has got one of the great interworking relationship between people, and the employees are extremely supportive and friendly. Literally no politics, and a great work environment. The senior management appreciates ideas from the team, and there's great freedom to work in different technology areas, the company focuses in.

Cons

PV management just doesn't know how to make use of the PVI office. The office was opened in order to support PV's customer programs, but it turned out to be its simply a development support center. There is just no roadmap for the India office, it purely serves as a support center with adhoc tasks flowing in and out of the office. At a time, when the whole world is eager to invest in development centres in India, PV just doesn't know how to make use of this office in a best possible manner. Career growth is quite limited, since being purely a support center, there isn't much visibility for folks working in it, and not much attention is paid towards its career roadmap.

Pros

It's a very good place to work, People in here are very friendly and cooperative. Being a first intern for packet video at Charlotte was very special, I've got a very good platform to learn and explore. I learned a lot from being novice in Python and Javascript to a Mid level developer.

Cons

It is not exactly a negative point for the company, But I would have been very happy, If my internship got converted to full-time employment.

Pros

The environment was great. There was a lot of talent that was very open and worked very closely together. It wasn't a huge company so you still had the opportunity to be involved in many aspects of the development life-cycle. Wonderful growth opportunity. You always had access to the founding members, and they were all wonderful leaders.

Cons

Lack of focus. PV was cutting edge in the beginning of mobile media, but it seems that it never pushed ahead enough to keep that lead. After time, the mobile media market was flooded with a large number of players. At that point PV was juggling a lot of random projects that never really took off.
