Pros
Paragon likes to bend over for their clients and take it up the @$$ and not fight for their guards. On the plus side if you can fog a mirror and have zero experience and or training, you can stand in if a supervisor is sick according to our scheduler. Another positive is that you can be late with little to no explanation other than "Traffic" and they don't care.
Cons
You'd think that the sites are Highschools there is so much inner company drama. Forcing guards to perform hot work permits (contradicting their own policies and standing orders where it states - Shift supervisors and Lead hands are responsible for HW permits). They also sign you up for training and things you have no interest in and borderline force you to go . . . Guards are CONSTANTLY late to relief your post/position. SUPERVISORS call in half hour before shifts and inform that they won't be in. An example of Paragon taking it up the rear; The client (Brookfield) wants 3 guards to watch and patrol three buildings (essentially a full city block) total floors would be in the 100+ range. This included complete stairwell (top to bottom) patrols . . . for $17.50.
