Pros

The company employees many great professionals at most levels, the product itself is interesting though lacking in comparison to its competitors.

Cons

The degree of micro management by the CRO are absurd. The typical decision-making process is a maddening display of stupidity by the CRO and sheer arrogance: the management consistently disregards every good idea proposed by their employees while constantly doubling-down on some of the worst business strategies you have ever seen. The office environment is terrible bordering on a health hazard.

Playroll hosts a lot of socials and will buy staff coffee and lunch.

Cons

Critically toxic work culture and broken systems. There is no structure. Everything breaks, all the time. Daily backstabbing and infighting. Critically short-staffed. Everyday is spent putting out fires, it's impossible to do your job. The founders repeatedly claim that there are "no golden calves" and that they "want people that will speak up and challenge the status quo" but the people who do, are the ones that get fired! Zero work-life balance. It's a culture of burnout. they treat their staff like matchsticks. Burn them out and then discard them via MSA. Company preaches transparency, but there is none. Questionable morals and ethics from founders. Hire and fire mentality. It's clear that the founders do not understand the landscape in which they operate. Rapid staff turnover! The founders think they are untouchable and they conduct themself like thugs. They rule with fear, everyone is constantly scared of losing their jobs. Do not believe the 4 - 5 star reviews of the company. HR is padding up the numbers and have forced current staff to leave positive reviews, as they are struggling to find people to work there. If you are thinking of working there, then I'd encourage you to reach out to previous employees and hear what their experience was.
