Pros

The employees are fantastic, dedicated, and work hard to support a great mission. The leaders support their team members to ensure the mission is accomplished. Corporate supports program through great leadership. The CEO is a believer of ownership (including taking responsibility for any mistakes made) and leading by example.

Cons

Every job has its pros and cons. For me, the cons are being assigned tasks I am not fond of. Why? Simple answer, there are tasks I am comfortable with conducting and there are tasks I am not comfortable conducting. I have to force myself to work outside of my comfort zone to accomplish the mission.

Pros

I feel valued and included even as a new hire. The support and communication have made the transition smooth and encouraging.

Cons

Nothing significant yet. I’m still early in the process but very impressed.

Pros

Leadership that’s actually present and hands-on- The leaders here don’t just sit in offices and send emails. They’re accessible, involved, and take real pride in mentoring employees. I’ve had managers spend time walking me through new responsibilities, helping me map out a career path, and checking in regularly to make sure I have what I need to succeed. A culture that cares about employees as people- You’re not treated like a number. When personal or professional challenges come up, people listen and try to help. There’s a real emphasis on doing the right thing and taking care of the team, not just hitting metrics. Back office that actually makes your life easier- HR, admin, and other back office staff go out of their way to support you—whether it’s paperwork, scheduling, benefits questions, or solving small problems before they become big ones. You don’t feel like you’re “bothering” anyone when you ask for help. Small, tight-knit team that jumps in wherever needed- It’s a small team environment where everyone wears multiple hats. If something needs to get done, people step up—whether it’s “their job” or not. That creates a strong sense of trust and shared responsibility. “One team, one fight” mindset- There’s a real feeling that we’re all on the same side: leadership, employees, and support staff. Wins are shared, and when there are challenges, people pull together instead of pointing fingers.

Cons

Because it’s a smaller, all-hands-on-deck environment, the pace can be fast and priorities can shift quickly. It’s a great fit if you like being challenged and staying flexible, but it might feel intense for someone who prefers a very rigid, predictable day-to-day.
