Pros

- figured out how to sell themselves well externally

Cons

- money is managed poorly and employees are exploited (only c-suite are part of the 'venture fund' yet, the agency has been known to decrease the cash amount for billable brand work and take payment in the form of equity from startups) - homogenous and white dominated - poor management who have outdated ideas of branding - hours get long with no recognition - process gets changed and leaders are not able to standardize anything

Pros

The projects themselves are really interesting and creative, and I genuinely enjoyed the work when I could focus on it. My direct manager and most of my teammates were supportive, approachable, and professional, which made the environment tolerable at times. There’s potential to learn a lot if you thrive under pressure and tight deadlines.

Cons

The workload felt relentless, with extremely short deadlines that made it nearly impossible to finish work within normal hours. There’s an unspoken expectation to continue working outside of standard hours just to keep up. The culture can be a “meat grinder,” especially in the creative team, which seems burnt out—possibly due to hiring challenges and high turnover. Some interactions with colleagues had a questionable tone, which added unnecessary stress. Overall, it’s a high-pressure environment that can negatively affect mental health if you’re not careful.
