Pros

It's a job, which you get paid. Is that considered a pro?

Cons

Boiler room pressure. You're expected to know everything from day one and you're expected to double (or even better triple) book your time or you get fired without any notice, like I was. Typical hires get two weeks vacation. That's all you get for a whole year. This includes any 1/2 days you need to do personal errands or doc visits. To add further insult - time off is accumulative and is non-roll over. You're expected to travel for remote extremely time consuming projects without any additional comp on regular basis. You're not expected to have any sort of work/life balance. any culture is a culture of fear and uncertainty.

S7 Technology Group Response

We appreciate your opinion and we understand that S7 is not a fit for everyone. S7 strives on an open door policy, we are compromising and open to suggestions from our employees. At times, we do require travel to our clients while working on projects or technical issues that cannot be done remotely. Nothing goes unnoticed here at S7, employees are compensated in many ways, and we are thankful for all the work our employees put in. Along with our open door policy we are very flexible with our hard working employees and we wish you the best of luck!

Pros

I have been with S7 for almost 6 months now. The team is great, if you have any questions they are willing to help. Management is extremely nice and helpful. This is a fast environment, you get to deal with different technologies, and learn.

Cons

I do not have cons.

Pros

If you are looking to grow your career in IT this is the place. You get to touch a lot of different types of technology. Clients are Private Equity, Investment Banking and Hedge Funds so there is always a lot of projects going on. Management always try's to promote from within. Company pays a large portion of the Health Benefits, 401k with match, unlimited sick and a substantial year end bonus if you work hard.

Cons

If you are looking for a 9-5 job, this is not the place for you. If you are looking to work hard, and grow your technical skills and career then this would be a good fit. This is very clear in the interview process they are looking for smart, hardworking people on the team and if you do that your bonus will reflect that.
