Here is a poem that gives a summary of my whole experience: The House of Hollow Leaders They smiled with polished, practiced grace, But venom flickered beneath a face. The handshake warm, the voices sweet, Yet daggers waited at my feet. I gave my labour, heart and fire, Believed their words, their promised choir. But truth revealed a darker scheme A place where trust is just a dream. Behind their smiles are sharpened knives. The 'people' people don't value lives. They trade in blame, in fear, in spin Integrity won't last within They boast of trophies, shiny, grand, Yet none are earned by heart or hand. A gilded front, a hollow show, Inside, the rot is all they know. At the summit, fear holds reign, Leaders steeped in cold disdain. Voices silenced, truth erased, Dissenting souls are soon displaced. So hear me now, if you should dare To walk into a lion's lair: It feeds on hope, it drains the kind, It breaks the brave, enslaves the mind. Leaders crush the ones who speak, The strong, the honest and the meek. A culture poisoned, cold, untrue If you have choices, don't choose this one too.
Pros
Lovely, friendly team - purely the reason for the two stars Good staff discount if you like Seasalt’s styles
Cons
Complete lack of guidance from day one. Got lumped with a major piece of work on day three then got repeatedly admonished for not being able to complete it when the systems just weren’t up to providing the required information, and no one was helping. Incredibly unprofessional behaviour from a director alongside a complete lack of care about mental well-being made for a miserable time in Seasalt’s employment. Sadly I left them with my mental health in such a state I couldn’t face any sort of appeal, so they got away with it completely. Systems were completely unfit for purpose - I’ve worked for tiny companies with better IT and software than Seasalt.
