Pros

I’ve worked at Sidebench for over a year and I’m constantly amazed by how much I’ve learned during my time here. I’ve been given the opportunity to work with and learn from design teams, project management teams and development teams, all whose ideas, processes and thinkings I’ve been able to learn from and apply to my own work. The team is a group of incredibly intelligent and hardworking individuals who have come from so many different perspectives and backgrounds. The leadership team has provided me with opportunities to prove myself beyond my job description, and they’ve trusted me to work autonomously while also giving me ample time to explore projects that I’m genuinely passionate about. Another perk of working here is the flexible working culture. Sidebench understands that you have a life outside of work and are happy for you to work from home or alternative hours where needed.

Cons

I'd only avoid if you are strictly looking for a typical 9-5 job. As a small but growing company, there is more to do and more hats to wear than a large corporation where everything is defined. If you are someone who is looking for a role that allows you to go above and beyond the job description, pursue your passions, and learn a lot very quickly, this is a great place to work.

Pros

Leadership team is ethical and cares about what they are doing. They also hire quality folks

Cons

They are kinda ramping down in volume, so not as much opportunity to work with them as before.

Pros

The people are some of the brightest and the most humble coworkers I’ve ever had in my life. Leadership cares so much and I couldn’t imagine my life without the friendships I have made at this company. The work is rewarding in a challenging way. Clients are great and the products are so interesting.

Cons

I would say try your hardest to keep the company feeling small and close. Protecting the great community you have built is going to be hard work but it will be your greatest asset as you continue to grow.
