Pros

Beautiful offices in great locations. Good apprenticeship scheme.

Cons

There is a real divide between offices, those working across locations don’t make the effort to travel between locations therefore teams are isolated and left out in team decisions. Managers often micro-manage with day to day simple tasks rather than taking time to discuss big picture things making progression impossible and creates an environment based on fear. The open plan lay out of the Lancaster office caused divides and everyone was very aware of what was going on around them with little room for private discussions, especially with HR matters or important future plans in the business. There is a work hard play hard environment which isolates new starters and fails to get them up to speed with those around them, little training beyond the initial few days is provided. Little flexibility with working from home or hours, any life outside work is treated as an inconvenience including unavoidable illnesses. HR are often unequipped to deal with important issues. Pay is awful for lower levels for those taking on more work when their supervisors fail.
