Overall, my experience here has been a mixed bag. My boss has been a source of frustration and disappointment during my time here. Several issues have arisen that have negatively impacted my experience: i) constantly creates the impression that our work is solely for their benefit rather than being a collective effort. ii) communication and instructions are often unclear, which can lead to misunderstandings and errors. iii) selective hearing or one-sided hearing when it comes to feedback or concerns raised by the team. This has hindered effective communication and problem-solving. iv) avoiding responsibility and being defensive when issues arise. Admitting mistakes or acknowledging previous statements can be a challenging feat. v) the communication style is demoralizing and demotivating. vi) lacking transparency. vii) breaching trust by sharing employees' personal matters with colleagues is unacceptable and unprofessional. It erodes trust and creates an uncomfortable work environment.
