Pros

I was looking to work at a mental health startup and I could not have gotten luckier joining the Spring Health team. Not only is the team is driven, bright, and kind, they are laser-focused on making the mission of the Company a reality. At the same time, there is an emphasis on work-life balance. Everyone is respectful and aware that each member of the team has a life and family outside of work. The founders April and Adam are wonderful to work with. They know when to step in and provide guidance, but also when to take a step back and let a team member run. They are enjoyable to be around and partake in social activities outside of our normal work setting when their schedule allows, such as working out together. I am so proud to work at this Company and would highly recommend it, especially for folks who are itching to change the mental health status quo.

Cons

Currently, a fair number of the team is remote.

Pros

Many talented people trying to do good work, that I wish I could have worked with for longer. Good compensation and benefits. The company mission is admirable, even if it isn't realistic.

Cons

Disregard the negative Glassdoor reviews at your own risk. So many reviews over these past few months could have been written by me, but weren't. A company that was sincere about its mission, and being mission-based, would understand the importance of mental health for those who work to make the mission a reality - the employees. If you are sincere in your passion for mental health, and value maintaining your own, do not be surprised if the culture spits you back out.
