Is it worth it? - Dog Walker Strut The Pup Employee Review

Thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Strut the Pup! They really care for their employees and make working for them as seemless as possible! The animals are a plus as always!

I didn’t experience any cons while working with the company

The best part of this job is of course the dogs! But the owner is also endlessly kind and supportive, always ready for a chat on the phone when I need to discuss anything during the work day. They pay well and you are definitely shown appreciation for hard work. The scheduling is very organized and it is easy to develop a comfortable routine with the dog pack. The owner gives lots of holidays off, all the major ones anyway, and is accommodating for time off requests. I am so sad to leave but Einat has been so gracious and supportive and understanding. I highly recommend the position of Pack Leader; there is the extra responsibility of driving a company van plus managing a pack of dogs at the park but it is a really unique and fun job. Walking individual dogs in the neighborhood is great too! All the dogs are well vetted and if I have ever felt uncomfortable about any sort of dog behavior Einat is ready to listen to my concerns and discuss solutions.

No cons aside from being outside in all sorts of weather, but that comes with the territory and it beats being cooped up in an office all day. Plus if the weather is too severe to be driving they will shut down service anyway.
