Worst Company I’ve Ever Worked For - Call Center Receptionist Sutter Gould Medical Foundation Employee Review

Pros

Monday thru Friday only. Holidays off.

Cons

Only hire part time. Supervisors play favorites. Attendance requirements are unreal. Micro management at its worst. Daily call monitoring. And reviews. Their call standards are a joke. They want you to fail so they have a reason to fire you. They play favorites and seniority means nothing. They hire part time employees to full time only if they like you and your call performance doesn’t matter. People who have worked a couple months get full time offers while people there for years get overlooked. It’s all about who you know at Sutter. My coworker had been there for 18 years and they fired her because she was told she wasn’t fast enough on calls. They do audits of your calls and if you miss one thing on the call you can fail. Once you fail, you get 0 for the month. For example, you have to say the customers name twice on every call. If you say it only once, you fail. All other days of the month no longer matter because you already failed the month. Instead of coaching you to be better, they make you feel horrible. When you fail more than 2 months you go on “warning” and after the warning, if you fail another audit you are fired. They have one person doing the audits for the entire office and she loves to fail everyone to make herself look better. Worst company I have ever worked for and the morale is so low. Everyone I knew hated this job.

Pros

Willing to hire after externship, great benefits, and learning experience. Not bad pay straight out of a Medical Assisting Program.

Cons

Not a realistic work life balance

Pros

Health Benefits and hourly pay.

Cons

You’re replaceable, you are nothing special to them. Do NOT speak your opinions or they will find a way to get rid of you. Your years of service mean nothing.
