Pros

1. In the initial few years, you might get attracted due to slightly better pay 2. Earlier when WFH / Hybrid was applicable, it felt like a sensable choice but no longer

Cons

Specific concerns relating to the Finance Controllership Team: 1. A noticeable level of favoritism toward a select group of employees. 2. Slower and uneven growth opportunities across the team. 3. Instances where employees are made to feel undervalued or humiliated for minor, occasional mistakes. 4. High levels of inter-departmental politics and a lack of empathy in professional interactions. 5. Poor work-life balance, with unnecessarily extended working hours that often prioritize visibility over meaningful productivity. 6. Managers nominating themselves for awards and promotions while citing budget constraints during increment discussions with junior employees. 7. Relatively low average increments (around 10% or less) for junior employees (AM/Analyst level), contrasted with back-to-back promotions and higher increments at senior levels. 8. Tangible growth opportunities appearing limited to only 5–6 individuals within a team of approximately 30 members. 9. People join with big dreams and real ambition. They work hard for 2–3 years, hoping that their efforts will lead to a promotion or a meaningful raise. But when that time comes, they are either asked to wait for the “next cycle” or put in a situation where leaving feels like the only option. When an AM leaves after gaining experience, new Analysts are hired at much lower salaries. They go through the same 2–3 year journey, and then the pattern repeats. It feels less like career growth and more like a loop designed to keep costs low. 10. Many employees are not given challenging or high-quality work that helps them grow or build strong resumes. Instead, they keep doing the same tasks again and again, just expected to do them “more efficiently.” Growth in learning often takes a backseat to maintaining output. 11. No matter how well you perform, the result is usually the same — a simple “Met Expectations.” It feels like individual effort doesn’t truly get recognized because everyone is placed in the same category. Over time, this makes people feel stuck, undervalued, and replaceable rather than supported and developed. 12. You are often made to feel like you are at the very bottom of the hierarchy. People from other departments — sometimes even juniors — speak to you rudely, as if they hold more authority or seniority than you do. There is little to none mutual respect. 13. You are not encouraged to share ideas or think beyond your role. Your job feels limited to following instructions. At the same time, you are expected to always be available — always present, always responsive — as if your time and boundaries don’t matter. Over time, this constant tone and expectation slowly affects confidence and self-worth.

Pros

Nice meeting a few co-workers.

Cons

Toxic culture, Lack of communication, training was a nightmare. Desperate for people to work there. No breaks, 15 minute lunches, disrespectful to new employees, and their time. I cant say enough negatives because there's too many.
