Pros

Good benefits only for tuition reimbursement (100% for "B" average grades and above), pension plan, and health care benefits are not that great. The company encourage their employee to be flexible with different restructuring of organization. Their 401K plan is OK, because they are not being matched until you have reached your 1 year term in the company.

Cons

Mandatory re-certifications of greenbelt projects every 2 years. Perhaps make it longer than that, like at least 4 years. The promotions should be at least every two years instead of just having to promote somebody because they happened to have worked on a successful project. So, the loyalty of their employee should be recognized on how many years they have put into the company. They should match your 401K as soon as you joined the company, not when you have invested 1 year to the company before they match it. Getting promoted is very political.

Pros

I evaluated performance of several kinds of loudspeakers in accordance to standard UL1480. Tests conducted included frequency response vs dB, harmonic distortion, and maximum sound pressure level. It was really a good experience and I used my knowledge.

Cons

I really did not find any bad thing about this company. If I will have any chance in the future, I will really glad to join the company again.

Pros

There are some very good technical people here, and most are nice to work with. Good work life balance if you're not in management.

Cons

Honeywell's ownership. For such a large corporation, the salaries and benefits are a joke. You get only a high deductible health plan with a $3000 deductible and have to annually jump through hoops to re-enroll, or pay a huge premium penalty. Premium is already high enough. Salary is just average coming on board, and then you can expect raises to be very small or even zero, even in a good economy. Shareholder return and high CEO pay are number one with Honeywell. HR is an 800 number that reaches incompetent people in India. Local HR hides from you, until they decide it's time to fire people and then they seem to truly enjoy their job! Un-professional cruelty is the order of the day. You are treated like a naughty child. Salaried people can be DOCKED for taking too many sick days....that being more than just 5 days off of any kind for the whole year, non-cumulative.
